Michael Richard Nault
May 26th, 1956 - July 18th, 2023
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Richard Nault, known affectionately as Mike, who departed this life on July 18, 2023, in Pinellas Park, Florida. Born on May 26, 1956, in Dallas, Texas, Mike lived a full life of adventure, generosity, hard work, and courage. He leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and a commitment to making the most of every moment. Mike was the beloved son of the late Richard Edward Nault and Marilyn Jane Middendorf. He is survived by his two daughters, Kelly and Veda Nault, his sister Kathyrn Nault, and his brother Tom Nault. He was predeceased by his sister Peggy Nault. His family remembers him as a pillar of strength, a source of endless entertainment, and a man who valued family above all else. Mike graduated from Clearwater High School and furthered his education at St. Pete Junior College. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to own Crackerjack Landscaping in his early years, before becoming a devoted breadman with Merita Bread. More recently, he was the proud owner of Brightwater Irrigation and was recognized as a Master Well Driller. His work ethic was unparalleled, and he was known for his dedication and commitment to his businesses. An avid outdoorsman, Mike's love for nature was evident in his passion for hunting, fishing, and surfing. He was never happier than when he was on his boat, surrounded by the water he loved so much. His adventurous soul was contagious, and he was always the first to suggest a new adventure or a daring escapade. Mike had a unique ability to make others laugh, and he never met a stranger. His stories were legendary, filled with humor, wisdom, and a sense of adventure that reflected his approach to life. He was a man who lived life to the fullest, always ready to share a laugh, lend a hand, or offer a word of encouragement. Spending time with family and friends was Mike's greatest joy. His home was always open, his table always full, and his laughter always infectious. He was a man who knew the value of community, of friendship, and of love. Michael touched countless lives, and his absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him. In remembering Mike, we celebrate a life well lived. As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life, and the love he shared so freely with us all. Since getting a second chance at life, Mike’s “Mission from God” (as he often declared) has been and continues to be to fix up his beloved family home of 33 years. A celebration of Michael’s life of wonder, raising kids, and work will be held on the 29th of July 2023 at 11298 62nd Street, Pinellas Park, Florida, from 1-4pm. Family and friends are welcome to come and celebrate Mike with a BBQ provided. Please, bring your stories. Contributions to continue Mike’s mission may be made in the form desired by friends and family at his celebration of life or sent to the address above.
