James Matthew Varner
May 8th, 1949 - December 8th, 2020
Jim Passed away at Tampa General Hospital from COVID-19. Jim is survived by his wife of 51 years Gloria ( Zumda) Varner of Plant City, FL; a daughter Cristy (Varner) meade and son-in-law Shane Meade of Land O' Lakes, FL. He predeceased by his son Jason Matthew Varner, sister Donna Garris, brother Andy and Joe Varner, and a brother-in-law Stanley Zumda. He served in the Pennsylvania National Guard for over 25 years. He was employed by Knauf Insulation in Shelbyville, IN-Shasta Lake, CA and Martinsburg, WV. He was an avid golfer ( 5 times a week) and loved hunting and fishing. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, the family has decieded to not have a funeral service but hopefull do a Celebration of Life service as a later date.
