Michael Armas 51, of Tampa, Florida passed away on December 5, 2020, after a long and brave battle with cancer. He died at home surrounded by family and friends. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and cheering on the Rays and the Bucs. He is preceded in death by his father, Armando Armas. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Armas; daughter, Maya Armas; mother, Ofelia Armas; in-laws, Louis and Gloria Fernandez; brother, Steve Armas (Jennifer); brother-in-law Louis Fernandez (Doreen); sister-in-law, Stephanie Grisanti (Bret); uncle, Al Suarez (Maria); aunts, Barbara Bush (Rick), Diana Castellano, and Debra Fernandez; nephews, Alan Armas, Myko Rodriguez, Steven and Michael Eubanks; nieces, Alicia and Zoey Armas, Ava and Alexis Fernandez; as well as many cousins, extended family, and friends. There will be a mass held in his honor at St. Joseph's Catholic Church on Tuesday, December 15 at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Michael's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. His wife Michelle would like to extend a special thank you to Stephanie Grisanti, Hospice Life Path (The Ruby Team), and Janet Sellars.
