Mrs. Velma Lorena Harner, age 97, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at her home. Mrs. Harner was born February 14, 1926 in Durham, Georgia to John Allen and Nettie Estell (Adkins) Holland. She was an Auburndale resident for over 50 years coming from Georgia and a homemaker. Velma enjoyed talking to friends & family on the phone, volunteering where ever she could and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband – Ray Marlin Harner and 2 daughters – Brenda & Susie. Velma is survived by loving family, son – Teddy Martin West; daughter – Marie Jackson; 17 grandchildren – Joni, Jane, Lonnie, Lee, Angie, Tina, Vicky, Andrea, Marty, Michelle, Russ, Bruce, Calvin, Rick, Mickey, Danny & Timmy; many, many great grandchildren & great great grandchildren. Interment will take place 11am Thursday, April 20th at Auburndale Memorial Park.
