November 18th, 1942 - May 17th, 2023
Margaret {Peg) Virginia Taylor of Lake Alfred, Fl. Peg Taylor 80 formally of Fredonia Pa. went home to the arms of the Lord on May 17, 2023, after an extended illness, at home surrounded by family. She was born in Moon Run Township PA November 18th, 1942, to Charles and Cecelia (Chapman) Mockus. She married her high school sweetheart James L Taylor Sr on May 31, 1964. They were married for 51 beautiful years. Peg was a homemaker, along with being the dispatcher for their Taylor Trucking Company of Fredonia, PA, until they retired to Lake Alfred, Fl in 2008. Peg loved the outdoors, animals, and she was also known for her love of her flowers and keeping her home beautiful. She pulled Garden Tractors with Taylor Pulling for many years with her family and friends. She enjoyed Traveling, Shopping, Antiques, Car Shows, being a jokester and going to Flea Markets. She spent a lot of her time crocheting Afghans, spending time with the Amish Community and she most enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and her friends. Peg leaves behind three children; James Taylor Jr {Debbie) of Cochranton, Lisa Hawthorne (Lee) of Greenville, Pa and Melissa Caszatt (Robert Jr,) of Dundee, FL. Also, her precious cat Cookie, Grandchildren; Cody Turner, Kyle Turner (Savannah} Megan {Adam) Demoss, Tiffani Frantz, Ashleigh Donner, {Michael}, Robert Caszatt lll (Kae) Ashley Ongley, Tiffany Shipman (Huey), Haylee Bendorf (Nathan) Brandi Swoboda (Jowayne Jeffery) Great Grandchildren; Jacob and Jezebel Totten, Colton Stephens, Emma and Lilly Demoss, Emma and Robert Caszatt, Kaitlyn Ongley, Ambrosha, Coty, Teegan, Oryn Taylor, Tyler Shipman, Braylon, Kaiden, Kymani Swaboda and Jayden Jeffery. Peg was preceded in death by her parents, Cecelia and Charles Mockus, her husband James L. Taylor Sr and a grandson Richard Chess Jr. A celebration of life will be held for family and friends at Camp Endeavor 1300 Camp Endeavor Blvd. Dundee, Fl 33838 on Saturday June 3, 2023 @ 11am. Lunch will be provided after services. Funeral Services being provided by Kersey Funeral Home and Crematorium of Auburndale Fl. In lieu of flowers please send them to 801 8th Street South Dundee, Fl 33838
