Obituary for James T Harris James T Harris, 77, of Lake Alfred, Florida passed away September 8, 2023, at Winter Haven Hospital Winter Haven, Florida. He was born on November 29, 1945, in Cool Good, Kentucky to Hubert Harris and Magdalene (Thompson) Harris. Mr. Harris loved going on adventures on his motorcycle with his friends. He also loved to talk to anyone, and in doing so, he never met a stranger. His greatest achievements in life were his marriage to Barabara and raising his 4 daughters. Holiday dinners with family were very important to James. James is survived by his loving wife Barbara Harris of over 60 years, 4 daughters: Tonia Harris Sikes, (Steve) Lakeland, FL., Tresa Hudick Alexandria, Va., Tina Childress, (Wayne) Haines City, Fl., and Jaime Davis, (Larry) Mulberry, Fl., He also leaves behind 11 grandchildren - Michael Hudick, Breanna Wortleman (Bryan), Justin Childress, Tyler Hudick, Austin Harris, (fiancé Maggie Clark), Matthew Dean, Ayden Sikes, Landen Sikes, Larry Davis III, and Savannah Davis. 3 great grandchildren Jeremiah Wortleman, Kayleigh McAbee, and Huntlee Ann Dean. He was preceded in death by both parents, brother Jerry W. Harris Leesburg, Fl., sister Nina Sizemore, Kentucky, sister Agnes Carter, Michigan, and son-in-law Jeffrey Hudick. James will be missed tremendously by his family and friends. There has been no memorial service scheduled at this time.
