Mr. Daniel Lee Smith, Jr. age 22, a resident of Tampa, Florida recently moved to Lakeland passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023 at his home. Daniel was born August 31, 2001 in Savannah, Georgia. He has been a resident of Lakeland since 2013 coming from Georgia where he attended Brunswick High School. Daniel enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles, video games and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his mother and paternal grandfather. Daniel is survived by his loving family, father & mother – Daniel & Wendy Smith; paternal grandfather – Danny & Ann Smith; paternal grandmother – Charlotte Jean Jensen; maternal grandmother – Susan Keller & Louis Wall; brother – John Michael Hunter; 3 sisters – Ann & Daniel Howard, Courtney & Dakota Avery and Abigail Newkirk and several nieces, nephews & cousins. A memorial service will be held 1pm Saturday, January 13th at Kersey Funeral Home.
