POLK CITY - Mr. Floyd Craig, age 87, a resident of Polk City, passed away Thurs. 9/15 at Spring Lake Rehab in WH due to heart failure. Mr. Craig was born July 30, 1924, in Sparta, TN, to Frank & Dovie May (Randolph) Craig. He was a retired sawmill worker and a 60-yr. resident of Polk County. He was preceded in death by his parents & wife, Zora in 2008. He is survived by 3 sons: Eugene (Linda) Craig of Abernant, AL, Carl (Diane) Craig of Lake Wales, James (Peggy) Craig of Auburndale; 2 daughters Jannie (Bob) Meadows of Auburndale, Maggie Webb of Bartow; several brothers, sisters & extended family; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; and great great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made toward funeral expenses. Funeral services will be at 10am Sat. 9/17 at the Kersey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green Pond Cemetery in Polk City. Visitation will be Fri. 9/16 from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
