Larry Hoenstine

Mr. Larry B. Hoenstine, age 66 of Auburndale passed away Monday, February 23, 2009 in Auburndale due to cancer. Mr. Hoenstine had lived in the area for 31 years coming from Pontiac, Mi.. Larry was a Marine and serviced during the Vietnam era. He was the owner of Larry?s Auto Paint and Body, was a member of First Baptist Church of Ft. Meade and enjoyed traveling, Nascar, camping, hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Doris of Auburndale, daughters, Rhonda (David) Prine of Winter Haven, Delores (Tommy Ray) Shockley of Auburndale and Dawn Hoenstine of Fair Hope, Al. He is also survived by his mother, Elsie Hoenstine of Pontiac, Mi., his sister, Debbie (Tim) Hudson of Waterford, Mi. and 6 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held Friday at 4 PM at the Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale. The family will begin receiving friends at 3:30.
