Walter Luce, Jr

Walter Thomas Luce Jr. "Tom" 24 June 1940 - 23 October 2016 of Cocoa, FL, age 76, passed away quietly amongst family. He was born in Tawas, MI, to Walter and Evelyn (Kramer) Luce. He was the Grandchild of Walter and Claudia (Jacobs) Luce, lifetime residents of East Tawas MI. Tom was the oldest of four children preceded in death by William A. of Swartz Creek, MI, Daniel D. of East Tawas, MI and Grandson Thomas "Alan" Needham, III of Cocoa, FL. Tom attended Sacred Heart High School and graduated from Central High School Flint, MI. He entered the United States Marine Corps in 1957 and was honorably discharged in 1961. Tom began his lifetime career at the General Motors Corporation Van Slyke Complex Powertrain V8 Engine Plant Flint, MI retiring in 1994. Tom's hobbies consisted of sailing, hunting and collecting Marine Corps memorabilia. He was an active member of the Tawas Bay Eagles 2588 in East Tawas, MI. Tom is survived by daughter's Susanna (John) Crowley of Cocoa, FL, Catherine (Ronald) Latuszek of Grayling, MI, brother Jim Luce of Plainwell, MI, Grandson's Benjamin Needham of Cocoa, FL, Mathew Latuszek of Grayling, MI and Granddaughter Audra Crowley of Cocoa, FL and several nieces and nephews.
