Mrs. Wanda L. Adams, age 91 a resident of Auburndale passed away Sat. June 25, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Adams was born Dec. 31, 1924 in Truman, Arkansas to Finis and Geneva May (Pierce) Mitchell. She was an Auburndale resident for the past 50 yrs. coming from Tiptonville, TN. She retired from being a manager for a shrimp processing company and Publix in their Bakery dept. Wanda was a hard worker supporting her family during the years and enjoyed reading and being with family. Special gratitude goes to Good Shepherd Hospice team for their loving care and devotion. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1st husband-Marion T. Calvary; 2nd husband-Jerry L. Adams; brothers; sisters and 2 gr. children. Wanda was blessed with a loving & devoted family; 2 Sons: Bobby (Donna) Calvary of Lakeland, Gary Calvary of Winter Haven 2 Daughters: Gale (David) Surrency of Winter Haven, Geneva (Steve) McMahon of Tecumseh, OK., 7 Grandchildren, 4 Gt. Grandchildren.
