Mrs. Pauline Bennett, age 72 a resident of Auburndale passed away Sunday, June 19, 2016 at Good Shepherd Hospice with her family at her side. Mrs. Bennett was born Nov. 16, 1943 in Cullman, AL. to Oliver Roscoe & Alice Roberta (Sims) Holt. She was a Polk Co. resident since the 1950's coming from AL. Pauline graduated from Winter Haven High School Class of 1961 and was a retired Lab Tech for Coca Cola. She was a member of Inman Park Baptist Church in Winter Haven, Sunday School Teacher and a Certified Home Health Care Helper. Pauline enjoyed cooking, socializing and being with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband - Leo Bennett; sister and half-brothers. Pauline is survived by; 2 Daughters: Julie Whitney of Auburndale, Susan Barfield (Leo) of Winter Haven, Brother: Edward R. Holt (Carole) of Auburndale, ½ Brother: Otha Holt (Overa) of Mobile, AL., 3 Granddaughters: Rachel Edwards (Bubba) of Auburndale, Lynsey Capossere of Auburndale, Zoe Barfield of Winter Haven, 3 Gt. Grandchildren: Landon, Layla & Brantley.
