Allen Robert Conner

Mr. Allen Robert Conner, age 95 (December 6, 1922) of Winter Haven passed away Tuesday March 6, 2018 at the Astoria Health and Rehabilitation Center in Winter Haven. Mr. Conner was native of Monroe, Georgia and had been a resident of Winter Haven since 1955 coming from Georgia. He was a self -employed Excavator, a member of the Main Street Baptist Church in Bartow, a member of the Winter Haven Masonic Lodge # 186 and was a 50 year member of the Florida Sheriffs Association of Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents Allen and Eva Conner; 2 brothers and 6 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Mary Pauline Conner of Winter Haven; 2 sons Robert Gaines Conner (Eileen) of Denver, NC and Kevin Conner (Sheila) of Winter Haven; a daughter Melanie Diane Hall (Allen) of Ruskin, Fla.; a sister Geneva Raezko of Sacramento, CA; 7 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday March 9, 2018 at the First Baptist Church, 2500 S. US Highway 17, Eagle Lake, FL 33839. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 11:00 A.M. at the church. Interment will be in the Rolling Hills Cemetery, Winter Haven. Arrangements by Kersey Funeral Home, Auburndale.
