August 1st, 1941 - November 30th, 2021
Andrew J. Mammay, Jr., 80, of Rockledge, Florida, passed away on November 30 after a short illness. Originally from Pennsylvania, Andy has lived in Florida since moving from New Hampshire in 2002. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Judith, three sons, Michael (Melody), of Savanah, GA, Stephen (Pamela), West Melbourne, and Patrick, of Springdale, AR, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two sisters, Linda Czonka and Sharon (Denny) Parise, and two brothers, Bill Mammay and Rick (Julie) Mammay. Andy served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Enterprise, working on phantom jets. He enjoyed coaching his sons’ baseball teams as they were growing up and camping with his family. He always had a ready smile and a friendly word for those around him. He was an avid golfer and collector of golf balls, and could often be seen at pond’s edge with his ball retriever. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to the Brevard Zoo. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held on December 9, 2021 at the Viera East Residents’ Club, 1964 Golf Vista Dr. in Rockledge from 4:00-7:00 pm.
