Roberta Frye

On 12/2/2021 Iva Roberta Zell Frye, born June 15, 1924 joined her 4 sisters, 4 brothers, Mother, Father, one daughter and son-in-law. She was born in Chillicothe, Missouri and moved with her family to Miami at age 2. She is survived by a daughter, son, 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She worked and lived in Miami/Hialeah until she moved to Cocoa 29 years ago. She led an active life in Cocoa with her friends at church where she crochet many book marks raising funds in support of spouse abuse facilities and she crochet Christian flag lap robes for shut-ins. She had many friends at Asbury Arms where she lived for almost 28 years and worked there part-time. She attended the Planet Fitness gym in Rockledge 3 times a week until October. A service of celebration will be held at Grace United Methodist Church, 65 Needle Boulevard, Merritt Island, FL 32953 on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at 11 a.m. Her service will be streamlined at on at Grace UMC’s Facebook’s page for those unable to attend.
