Marie Martha Strandberg

Marie M. Strandberg Palm Bay , Florida 1942 -2022 Marie M. Strandberg, born on February 9th, 1942, the daughter of Ernest and Georgina Freund, passed into eternal life on December 27th, 2022. Marie was preceded in death by her parents and son, Jason Strandberg. Marie is survived by her children; Christina (Richard) Gardner, John Strandberg, Dawn (Alan) Boyd, Scott Strandberg and Karen Garriel, grandchildren; Christopher, Michael, Ashley (Tyler), Kristen (Adam), Johnny Jr., Rich, Shawn, Angela, William, Ashlee and Ian. Great-grandchildren; Emmy, Gwendolyn, Savannah, Angeline, AJ, Dominic, Koji, Zander, Rosalie, Bradlee, Stori Lee, Jax Gabriel, Parker Grace. Marie was blessed with so many loving friends, too many to name, including Sean and Mary Garriel, Sarah Paci and Madison Hatfield. She loved her family with all of her heart. Marie had a flare for life and made sure she lived it to the fullest. Born in Babylon, New York, Marie moved to Florida in the 1970’s with her husband, John Strandberg. She worked in the hospitality industry where she met and, through the years, continued to stay in contact with friends, many of whom became like family. One of her favorite places to visit was KT’s in Cocoa, Florida where she would talk and share stories with friends. Marie’s energy was admired by many and her passion for life was contagious. Marie loved to dance and meet new people. She was one of kind and will be missed by many. Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Vitas Hospice in Rockledge, Florida for the wonderful care given to Marie in her final days. A service will be held at 2:00 pm on January, 9th, 2023 at Atlantic Mortuary, 117 Barton Avenue, Rockledge Florida, 32955.
