Mrs. Charlotte Lottie Cumbie Johnson, age 85 a resident of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Winter Haven Hospital. Mrs. Johnson was born December 21, 1932 in Melbourne, Florida to Bolden and Ellie (Roberts) Cumbie. She was a Polk County resident since the 1950’s, a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Lottie enjoyed cooking, reading & spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; son – Randall Tyson; grandson – David Tyson; 2 sisters – Louise Crumbly & Lois Heath and 2 brothers – Buddy Cumbie & Earl Cumbie. Lottie is survived by her loving family; Husband of 51 years – Earnest Allen Johnson of Winter Haven, Florida; 2 Sons - Colon Tyson, Jr. of Bartow, Florida and Wesley Tyson of Bartow, Florida; 2 daughters - Tina Short of Seattle, Washington and Virginia (Jim) Moyer of Lake Wales, Florida; Stepson- Freddie Johnson of Lake Alfred, Florida; stepdaughter - Ann Deese of Winter Haven, Florida and many grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, November 3, 2018 at Kersey Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park.
