GLINDA FAYDEAN, 67 WINTER HAVEN - Mrs. Glinda Fay Dean, age 67, a longtime resident of Polk County & former resident of GA. passed away August 9, 2013 at her home due to congestive heart failure. Mrs. Dean was born May 6, 1946 in Coffee Springs, AL. to Marlin Rex and Bonnie Fay (McLin) Howell. She was a dispatcher for the Hogansville, GA. Police Dept. Glinda was a member of Westside Missionary Baptist Church in Auburndale. She enjoyed traveling, antique shopping, decorating and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father that raised her, Harmon Heath; daughter, Jennifer LeAnn Smith and brother, James Marlin Howell. Glinda is survived by her loving family: husband of 5 Years: Richard Dean of Winter Haven, FL, 2 daughters: Terri (Christopher) Carlson of Linstrom, MN & Melissa (Charles) Shephard of Grand Rapids, MI, mother: Bonnie Fay Heath of Winter Haven, FL, stepson: Kevin Dean of Winter Haven, FL, stepdaughter: Kelly (Mike) Keister of Ft. Meade, FL, 2 sisters: Cynthia (Tony) Heath of Winter Haven, FL & Sherril (Glen) Saulnier of Phenix City, AL, 6 grandchildren: Joshua, Jared, Diana, Kristin, Ashley & Brandon, 10 great grandchildren: Trystan, Austin, Zoe, Willie, Kaylee, Noah, Maddox, Cassidy, Gage & Liliana Grace. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at the Kersey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Auburndale Memorial Park. Visitation will be held Monday, August 12, 2013 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
