Steven "Steve" Charles Irish

Mr. Steven Charles Irish, age 62 a resident of Polk City, Florida passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Lakeland Regional with his family. Mr. Irish was born October 10, 1956 in Traverse City, Michigan to Burton Clifford and Maxine Rae (Scamehorn) Irish. He was a Polk City resident for the past 3 years coming from Michigan. Steven was a retired HVAC Contractor and a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union in Detroit. He was a member of the Harley Owners Group (HOG), enjoyed traveling, riding motorcycles with his wife and spending time with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents. Steve is survived by his loving family; Wife of 28 years: Sue Irish of Polk City, FL. Son: Travis (Jill) Irish of Traverse City, MI. 2 Daughters: Holly (Doug) Spencer of Elk Rapids, MI. Sarah (Terra Brow) Irish of Ft. Wayne, IN. 4 Sisters: Debbie, Cyndi, Brenda & Julie 6 Grandchildren: Corbin, Cadence, Kaitlin (Nick), Jack, Owen & Luke 2 Gt. Grandchildren: Mila & Benjamin A gathering of family & friends will be held Friday, May 3rd from 3:00 until 5:00 PM at Kersey Funeral Home.
