Charles Eric Ward

WARD, Charles Eric, 68, born in Havana, Cuba, to Charles W. and Maria V. Ward, made his transition on August 25, 2016. Mr. Ward graduated Hillsborough High School in 1965, and pursued higher education at the University of South Florida, where he graduated in 1970. He was a retired Surgical Sales Representative for Whitaker General Medical, where his outstanding sales talents awared him the honor of Salesman of the Year throughout his career. Mr. Ward is survived by his wife, Alicia San Martin-Ward; beloved daughter, Alyssa Ward-Herbig (Michael); cherished grandchildren, Anelise, Taryn, and Cole Herbig; loving mother, Maria V. Ward; brother, William Ward; nephew, Angel Baltar, Jr.; niece, Melisa Baltar-Meredith (Brad); and Kirstie Ward. Mr. Ward’s family would like to express their appreciation of the staff at Life Path Hospice of Tampa, especially to Ms. Lynette Guerra, RN., of the Pink Team, for her professionalism that was infused with genuine care; and to Ms. Doreen Walters, an outstanding CNA. Donations in Mr. Ward’s memory can be made out to the Shriners Hospital for Children, located at 12502 USF Pine Drive, Tampa, FL 33612. In lieu of services, the family welcomes prayer for the many in need.
