Donna Jean Cermak

Former East Liverpool, OH, resident Donna Jean Cermak, 75, of Davenport, FL, passed away on November 19, 2020, at Winter Haven Hospital in Winter Haven, FL. Born in East Liverpool on April 14, 1945, she was the daughter of the late George Edmund and Minnie Belle (May) Sillince. A graduate of East Liverpool High School, she spent many years working at Hills Department Store at the service desk or back in lay-away and was an avid Steelers fan. After moving to Davenport, FL, her time was spent enjoying the warm temperatures with her husband Charlie, driving her dogs Ruby and Tucker around in the golf cart, and caring for her cats Sara Lee, Autumn, and Katie. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Cermak; second husband Charles Drinks (21 years); and stepson, John Drinks. She leaves behind two children, Steven Cermak (Diana) of Galesburg, IL, and Nancy Cermak (Eli Pothier) of Auburndale, FL; grandchildren Abby Cermak, Ben Cermak and Tim Cermak; step children Katherine Odom (Patrick) of Huntingtown, MD, James Drinks (Tonya) of Waldorf, MD, and Michael Drinks of Port Tobacco Riviera, MD; step grandchildren, Victoria McDowell (Marcus), Danielle Fawley, Sarah Fawley, John Drinks, Jr., Crystal Drinks, Samantha Eddy (John), Amanda Wilkins (Jeremy) and Cara Barger (Nick); and several step great-grandchildren. Donna always saw her stepfamily as her own and enjoyed spending as much time with each of them as possible. Donna’s ashes will be spread following COVID-19.
