Laura Marie Farnham
November 18th, 1946 - February 21st, 2021
Laura Marie Farnham, 74, of Auburndale passed away February 21, 2021 at Winter Haven Hospital. She was born November 18, 1946 to the late Jack Cannady and Marie Schmalenberger in Alameda, CA. She grew up and attended school in Alameda where she made lifelong friends. Her good friend Barb continued to keep in touch with Laura over the years and regarded her as one of her "very dear friends". In 1967 Laura made the move to the Sunshine State leaving her home in California behind. She had a wonderful career as a bus driver working for the school board and Disney. Driving for the "Mouse" was her favorite job. She is predeceasewd by her parents, brother: Walter Cannady, daughter: Ginger Baity, Step-sons: Donnie and Danny Akers. She is survived by her devoted husband Donald Forest Farnham, daughters: Anna (Jeff) Sheffield and Kathy (Lisa) Akers, sons: Lawrence (Kimberly) Carney, Mark Carney, and Kenny (Jennifer) Akers. Laura is also survived by 16 wonderful grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Laura touched the lives of all that knew her. She loved her husband and her family. She will be greatly missed.
