Mrs. Sandra Kay Stinnett Schneider, age 73, a resident of Polk City, Florida passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at home surrounded by family. Mrs. Schneider was born April 10, 1947 in Loveland, Ohio to William and Kaye (Kennedy) Stinnett. She was a retired Secretary for the State of Florida and a resident of Polk City since 1998. Sandra was a member of Legacy Community Church of Auburndale. She enjoyed socializing with people and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister – Susan Price; half-brother – Bill Stinnett; half-sister – Shirley Ponder; grandson – Hunter Kerst and son-in-law – Billy Kerst. Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 22 years – Randy Schneider of Polk City, Fl.; 4 daughters – Lynn (Dennis) Staboleski of Polk City, FL., Lisa Kappeler of Papua, New Guinea, Darlene Kerst of Lakeland, FL. and Marilyn (Daniel) Smith of Lakeland, FL.; 2 sons – Paul (Connie) Schneider of Lakeland, FL. and Timothy (Nicki) Schneider of Lakeland, FL.; sister – Kathy (Norman) Watton of Umatilla, FL.; brother – Joe Stinnett of Apopka, FL.; half-sister – Patricia Hunter of Deleon Springs, FL.; 4 grandsons – Jordan, Christian, Zack and Brendon and 1 granddaughter – Kaelynn. A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held 2:30 pm Saturday, March 13th at Legacy Community Church, 201 Dickey Road, Auburndale.
