Ronald William LaRue, Sr.

Mr. Ronald William LaRue, Sr. age 77 a resident of Lake Alfred, Florida passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2021 at Advent Health Heart of Florida Hospital with his wife by his side. Mr. LaRue was born November 2, 1943 in Port Deposit, Maryland to Lawson Simpkin and Mary Elizabeth LaRue. He was a resident of Lake Alfred since 2018. Ronald was a retired Candy Machine Operator for Hershey Foods in Pennsylvania. He enjoyed bowling, deep sea fishing with his wife and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his parents and 6 brothers. Ronald is survived by his loving & devoted wife of 51 years – Libby LaRue of Lake Alfred, Florida; 4 daughters – Elizabeth Ann (Quince) Turner of Winter Haven, Florida, Michelle Herrick of Lake Alfred, Florida, Janet LaRue and Nadine LaRue both of Louisiana; 3 sons – Ronnie LaRue, Jr. of Brandon, Florida, Robert Morrison of Riverview, Florida and Rodney LaRue of Colorado; many grandchildren. There are no services scheduled for Mr. LaRue at this time.
