Dennis H. Mazzarella

Dennis Henry Mazzarella, 64 of St. Petersburg, FL. passed away at Tampa General Hospital on April 17, 2017. with his wife Karen at his side and daughter Rebecca the previous days before. He was born in Putnam, Ct. on July 1, 1952 and took up residency in Florida in his later years. He had been previously employed at Shoppers Guide, Norwich Bulletin and in his later years was a mason. He was a member of BPOE # 1706 for 39 yrs. He was Past Elk of The Year, Past Officer of The Year and Past Exalted Ruler in Danielson, Ct. Dennis enjoyed life to the fullest and loved St. Petersburg and all it offered. He enjoyed fishing, relaxing on the beach, loved the theater, music, live concerts and the Grand Prix. Dennis was a history buff and enjoyed reading. He loved his family very much. Dennis is survived by his wife Karen of 41 yrs., his daughter Rebecca Baranski and her husband Josh. He has two grandchildren Keira O'Toole and Jaxon Baranski and one step grandchild Kali Baranski. Additional family members are two sister-in-laws Gracia Mazzarella and Genie Dyson and two brother-in-laws David Campbell and David Dyson. He has a nephew Kyle Campbell and three nieces, Erica Kelly, along with Lacey Mazzarella and Tiffany Mazzarella, his Aunt Mary of California and several cousins along with an extended family member Charlette Salisbury. Dennis is pre-deceased by his parents Henry and Alma and also pre-deceased by his brother Bruce. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Connecticut.
