Robert "Bob" McLaren
July 20th, 1953 - October 24th, 2017
MCLAREN, Robert “Bob” Hayes, 64, of Tampa, passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017. He was born July 20, 1953 in Dobbs Ferry, NY and moved to Florida from Cincinnati, OH in 1985. Bob was a United States Navy veteran, where he performed search and air rescues. He was also a contractor for the US Department of Defense. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Willie, Sr. and Muriel McLaren; and brother, William McLaren, Jr.. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Wanda McLaren; children, Heather Barrett (Eric), Jennifer Johnson (Ben), Robert McLaren, Sean McLaren, Patrick McLaren and Laurin Parker; sister, Sandie Glass; grandchildren, Caiden, Isabel, Eli, Sam, Caleb, Sophia and Owen; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service to honor Bob’s life will take place at 10:00am on November 10, 2017 in Oak Grove United Methodist Church (2707 W. Waters Ave.-Tampa, FL 33614).
