Milagros retired from the Miami Herald after 25 years of service in advertising. She enjoyed cooking, shopping and traveling. Milagros is survived by her sons, Marc (Diana) Morell and George (Todd) Morell; brother, Fred Orta; sister, Aida Orta; and grandchildren, Joshua Morell and Sarah Morell.
