Charles (Bud) Mitchell, 83, of Tampa, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2019. He was born in Alabama and moved to Florida in 1968. Charles had his own business as a truck driver and was a restaurant and grocery store owner. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dyeronda Powell-Mitchell; and daughter, Sheila Mitchell. He is survived by his children, Gregory Mitchell, Dana (Carlos) Matlock of Joliet, IL, Tammy Mitchell, Lela Irby and Diane (Kenneth) Gillion of Orlando, FL; sisters, Bertha Washington of Tampa, Janice (Cleophus) Stephens of Chatom, AL and Edith (Carl) Lyles of Evansville, IN; brothers, Ozzie (Peggy) Mitchell of Joliet, IL, Riley (Linda) Mitchell of Tampa and Jerry Mitchell of Daphne, AL; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
