Louis A. Jordan

JORDAN III, Louis A., 52, of Tampa peacefully passed away after his three year battle with cancer on Monday, March 8, 2010. Louie worked for Winn Dixie for 34 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan with an extensive collection most of which being of his favorite driver, Dale Earnhart, Sr. Louie enjoyed line dancing, country music and playing baseball. His strength, passion and love for his family and friends will be missed; but will continue to be carried on by all of us in our hearts and in our actions towards each other everyday. Louie…It hurts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God called you home. Love your family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis A. Jordan Jr. Louie was the loving son of Vilma Jordan; proud father of Casey and Eric Jordan; caring uncle and brother to sister, Belinda Relue; nephews, Ricky, Robbie and Andy; sister, Vickie Jordan; niece, Cherie and great-niece, Jayla; brother, Johnny and wife, Beth; niece, Lexi and nephew, Seth; his extensive family includes, aunts, uncles, cousins, two-great-nieces; and Carrie Jordan; and a life of fine friends. A Celebration of his life will be 2 until 4 pm, Saturday, March 13, at Dallas Bull on Hwy. 301, Tampa. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to LifePath Hospice or the Moffitt Cancer Center.
