CAVANAUGH, David Charles, 52, of Plant City, passed away Friday, June 4, 2010. David was born September 25, 1957 in Hartford City, Indiana to Clifford W. and Irene (Overmyer) Cavanaugh. Before his death, David was an upholster in the furniture care industry. David was a great and loving father and grandfather “Papa.” He was a faithful husband of twenty- two years. He loved and cared for his family through the rough times as well as the easy times. No matter what, he was always there. He loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed attending church and watching football, He especially liked his home football team, the Indianapolis Colts. His hobbies were putting toy models together and painting little army men. Additionally, loved to work but when he started getting sick he could not work anymore. Then he became “Mr. Mom,” doing his work at home. He is survived by his wife, Freda; children, Jefferson D. “J.D.” fiancee, Heather Blanton and Jessica D. and fiance, Kevin Moody, and Rebecca L. and husband, Matthew Conner; granchildren, EmmaLou Cavanaugh, Lucas Cavanaugh, Kurtis Conner and Valorie Moody; brothers, Lloyd "Butch Cavanaugh and Robert Cavanaugh; many other family members and friends. We will keep his memories deep in our hearts forever.
