Christine Reed Yates

Christine Reed Yates, age 57, passed away in Tampa, Florida on September 26, 2010 in a tragic automobile accident. Born in Buffalo, New York to Donald L. Reed Sr. and Elizabeth Mary (Hagen) Reed, she spent her formative years in Riverside, California and later resided in Abilene, Texas; Rome, New York and Parker, Colorado. In 1994, she settled in Oldsmar, Florida until 2007 when she fulfilled her dream to live in the Mexican Caribbean for a short time. In 2008, she relocated to Orlando, Florida to be near her youngest daughter, Kara Christine Yates. During her career life, she was a well-liked and valued employee of Bournes Electronics, Genesis Manufacturing and most recently, Sypris Solutions. Celebrating her memory are her three children, Ryan and Kara of Florida, her daughter Samantha and her husband Juan Carlos and their daughter, Lily Sofia of Playa del Carmen, Mexico; her brothers, Bill, Donny, Eric and David; and many other relatives and friends who cherished her very much. An informal service will take place at 4 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Philippe Park, area 1 located at 2525 Philippe Parkway, Safety Harbor, Florida 34695; followed by a gathering of togetherness at The Eagles Golf Club located at 11601 Nine Eagles Drive, Odessa, Florida 33556.
