Anna Vivian Fontaine

FONTAINE, Anna Vivian, 90, of Tampa, went home to be with the Lord on May 29, 2012 after complications suffered from a stroke. She was a devout Christian and so very much loved her Savior and Lord. She was born in Georgia on July 11, 1921. She was a graduate of Hillsborough high School and Professional Model School. She had an adventurous life through her travels within and outside the country. Vivian was very much an animal advocate and adored her kittens; every stray was welcomed. Never having children, she loved her niece, Claudette, as her daughter. To her Vivian would always be known as "Bib". She was predeceased by her parents, Era (Echols) and Mel Wright; loving husbands, Douglas (Smitty) Smith and Clark Fontaine; sister, Louise Wright; brothers and sister-in-laws, Melmon and Florence Wright, Alton and Josefina Wright; sister-in-law, Annie Wright. Vivian is survived by her loving and caring brother, Quentin Wright; niece, Claudette and her husband Jim Davis who watched over her with love and care; other loving nieces, nephews, and longtime caretakers, especially Edna, Shirley and Nevin. Vivian asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a non-kill animal shelter. The family is most grateful toGulfside Hospice in Zephyrhills. Vivian will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A graveside service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Garden of Memories.
