Peggy Keith

Peggy J. Keith, age 49, passed away June 29th, 2011 at her residence in Tampa, Florida. She spent her childhood in the Bloomington-Normal area, attending Glenn and Hudson Elementary Schools. She graduated from Chamberlain Senior High School in Tampa in 1979. Cremation rites were accorded. A private family memorial will be held. Surviving are four brothers and four sisters: Pamela (& Jack) McElhinney, Lutz; Cliff (Diane) Keith, Redwood City; Doug Keith, Bloomington; Tracy (Donna) Keith, Tampa; Joni (Mike) Jennings, Carlock; Jayne (Kirk) Ellis, Normal; Brian Keith, Castle Rock; Penny (Doug) Fairbanks, Tampa. Also surviving are 24 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, her mother, her stepfather, and one brother, Alan Keith. She was born August 25, 1961 in Bloomington to Cliff and Pauline Kunkler Keith, the ninth of ten children. She spent the majority of her career as an Administrative Assistant at Tampa Envelope. She was a natural born caretaker. She took great delight in her nieces and nephews, and treated them as she would have her own. She generously cared for her Mother and stepfather in their senior years. When she entered a room, a joke and laugh was sure to follow. She often fashioned a big smile and she boasted a hearty laugh that will be deeply missed. Although our family circle has been broken here on earth, it has been started in Heaven. It only makes Heaven seem a little nearer to know she is there.
