ARNDT, Viola, 85, of Tampa, passed away October 8, 2011. Viola Arndt was born February 16, 1926 in Decatur, Illinois, daughter of Ralph and Anna Van Horn. She married Walter F. Arndt and they spent their lives together travelling all over America and into Canada with Royal American Shows, a life they both enjoyed very much. They then retired to the Tampa area to be with their only child and grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, Ralph and Anna Van Horn; husband, Walter E. Arndt; siblings, Edna Guffy, Helen Haggarty, Hazel Sayre, Doris Cardoso, and grandson, Randy Dowie. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Cain; grandchildren, Rhonda DeWitt, Shellie Getz, Deanna Troxel, Russell Cain; great grandchildren, Eric Bledsoe, April DeWitt, Amanda DeWitt, Brittany Jennings, Todd Getz Jr., Joseph Dale, David C. Troxel, Austin Cain, Asley Cain; and five great great grandchildren. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She will be placed beside her husband at the Showmen's Rest.
