Thomas Jay Lewis

LEWIS, Thomas Jay, 60, of Hollywood, FL passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013. He was born in Washington, DC and had moved to FL from Southern Maryland. Jay was a Union Electrician and retired from the Local 26. Nothing brought Jay more joy than being with his family and friends. He was a true Redskins fan, loved boating and fishing. He recently became a member of the Lauderdale Boat Club. Jay is survived by Mary Lewis; loving mother, grandmother and mother-in-law of Christopher Lewis, Meredith Lewis, David Covert, Julian Covert, Christine Treyes, Dennis Treyes, Stephanie Chin, Eric Sturgeon. And by Debbie Lewis; loving mother of Christina Hangsleben. Jay was survived by numerous family members such as; Carol Redmond, Ronald Redmond, Brian Redmond, Andrea Redmond, Matthew Redmond, Martin Redmond, Eleanor Redmond, Thomas Redmond, Suzanne Redmond, Robert Lewis, Betty Jean Lewis, Toni Bennett, Carl Bennett, Daren Lewis, Jessica Cruttenden Lewis, Kathleen Lewis Meyer, Nicholas Meyer, Sara Nivison, Jacob Nivison, Nicholas Meyer Jr, Patrick Meyer, and numerous cousins and great nephews and nieces and friends. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27th at St. Johns Evangelist Catholic Church, 8910 Old Branch Ave., Clinton, MD 20735. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27th at Skipper's Pier Restaurant & Dock Bar, 6158 Drum Point Road, Deale, MD 20751. Please bring your best picture of Jay.
