March 18th, 1961 - July 18th, 2013
BRITTON, William Patrick (Bill), 52, of Tampa, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at home, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a proud member of AA of Tampa, Florida. He loved New England Sports teams, especially the Boston Red Sox. He was known for his big sense of humor. He loved movies and his dog, Princess. He is preceded in death by his father, William John Britton, October 1, 2008. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Ana Britton; his mother Jane Mckay and his step-father James Mckay, of Hudson, FL; three siblings; Barbara Thurlow of Southbury, Conn. Karen Craig of Portsmouth, RI, and Bruce Britton of Brandon, FL; three nephews: Bradley Britton of Brandon, FL, Daniel Craig of Bristol, RI, and John Craig of Portsmouth, RI. Bill had one great nephew Hunter Britton of Brandon, FL. He had many special people in his life including Anna Blanco, Alejandra Gallegos and Alexa Zavala. He also leaves behind his best friend Donald DuBreuil of Middletown, RI. Services will be held from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM, Saturday, July 20, 2013, at Florida Mortuary, 4601 N. Nebraska Ave, Tampa, FL 33603. Donations may be made in his memory to: LifePath Hospice, 12470 Telecom Drive, Suite 300, Temple Terrace, FL 33637 or Humane Society Tampa Bay, 3606 N. Armenia Ave. Tampa, FL 33607.
