Patricia Miller Hyde
September 6th, 1935 - January 14th, 2014
Hyde, Patricia Miller, 78, of Plant City passed away on January 14, 2014 with both of her daughters at her side. Patricia was born in Denniston, KY. She moved to Tampa in 1950 with her parents and siblings. She was a Hillsborough High School graduate and became Florida's first female roofing contractor in the late 70's. She was an extremely devoted mother & grandmother. She was an avid gardener, very artistic/creative & an entrepreneur. ANYTHING that she wanted to do, she did it with devotion, style, grace and love. She is survived by 2 daughters: Lucinda Lundy & Rebecca Hyde; 3 grandchildren: Christopher, Vincent & Sarah Lundy; 5 great grandchildren: Cassandra, Jaidah and Adalee Lundy, Trinity Lester & Neveah Lundy; 2 brothers: Bill (Phyllis) Miller & Larry(Yvonne) Miller; 3 sisters: Brona (Bill) Larder, Evelyn (Mike) Prado and Betty Kaplan; and many dearly loved nephews and nieces. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 1, 2014, at Florida Mortuary, 4601 N Nebraska Ave, Tampa, FL 33603.
