Linda J Beckner

Beckner, Linda Jean went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday evening, July 16, 2019. She lost her ongoing battle with lung and heart problems after a serious auto accident 16 months prior. Born the daughter of Ralph Howard and Fern Howard, May 23, 1953 in Saint Clair, Missouri. Preceded in death by her sister, Sheri Howard, Mother, Fern Howard, Father Ralph Howard and Ex-Husband, Fred Carter and leaving behind Sister, June Turner and Brother, Richard Howard. Linda was a loving spiritual mother of two sons, Fred Carter of Lakeland, FL and Jeremy Beckner of Ruskin, FL. She spent her life caring for her children and grandchildren. She was a loving wife to David Beckner, married march 16, 1985, married 34 years. She served faithfully and honorably as a military spouse from 1985 until 1992. Enduring several family separations, and deployments she was undying in her compassion and her commitment to her family. Her passion for love and living for the Lord is what gave her strength. Her capacity for forgiveness was endless. She understood the meaning of unconditional love. She always chose love over judgements and always would be kind and have a listening ear. Her passion in the later years were always her 6 grandchildren; Fred Carter, Dillion Carter, Luke Carter of Lakeland, FL and David Beckner, II, Jeremy Beckner II, and Crystal Beckner of Ruskin, FL. As she has moved on to be with the Lord, her watchful eye will always be over her beloved as they all keep her spirit alive in their hearts.
