Roger E. Barnoski
November 4th, 1942 - January 9th, 2022
Roger E Barnoski, of Northville, NY and Ruskin, FL was born at St Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam, NY on November 4, 1942 to Edmund and Wanda (Walag) Barnoski. He grew up in and around Amsterdam, NY with his sisters Carol and Cindy, and graduated from Broadalbin High School. He completed his studies at DeVry Tech in Chicago. He then moved to Florida where he married his first wife, Linda Louise Lewis. They had two children, Tammy May Johnson (David), and Tonya Mae Bloome (Matthew). With his second wife, Pierrette Beliveau he had daughter, Marie Denise Barnoski. While he had no children with his third wife, Barbara Lee Horton, he helped raise her daughter Brandy Wadsworth. In recent years, Roger was blessed with the companionship of dear friend, Carol Sweet. They enjoyed taking road trips, dining out, and spending time with friends and family, and were looking forward to many more adventures together. Roger had a big personality, and was a savvy and diverse businessman, owning many businesses over the years, including Northville Building Supply, Caroga Lake Building Supply, North Star Auto, and Northville Laundry. He also had innumerable business ventures in real estate, foam, metals, and importing high-end handmade canoes from Vietnam, and rustic furniture from China. Roger was very involved in his community as a member of the Northville Rotary Club, and serving as the Justice of the Peace for the Town of Hope. Roger was also a Mason, and a member of Fish House Lodge #298, and Royal Arch #116 Sacandaga Chapter. Roger was preceded in death by his parents Edmund and Wanda, and his daughter Marie Denise. He is survived by daughter, Tammy (David) Johnson, and Grandson Trevor Johnson; daughter Tonya (Matt) Bloome, and Grandsons David and Devin, and Granddaughter Danielle Bloome; and step-daughter Brandy Wadsworth, and her children; his sisters Carol Cowsert, and Cindy (Tom) Davidheiser; and many nieces and nephews. No services will be held at this time, but donations may be made to the Shriners Children’s Hospital, 2900 Rocky Point Dr, Tampa, FL 33607, or to LifePath Hospice at 3723 Upper Creek Dr, Ruskin, FL 33573
