Brown, Jack Alborn, 67, of Apollo Beach, Fla passed away June 9, 2008. He was a member of the Maranatha Church of God in Ruskin, Fla and was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Brown and Bertha Alborn Brown and two brothers, Edward and William Brown. Survivors include his wife, Juanita, two children, Robert Wade and his wife, Christy and Lisa Pitman and her husband, Ronald, five grandchildren, Maegan and Michael Keene, Adam, Andrew and Aaron Wade and a sister in law, Joanne Brown. Jack graduated from Slippery Rock State College with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Education, May 26, 1963. He taught middle school for the Union School District in Pennsylvania for approximately 3 years. Shortly thereafter he moved to Florida where he earned a Master's Degree from the University of Tampa, August 20, 1981. He taught Junior High and High School for the Hillsborough county School System for approximately 26 years and was an Administrator for the Hillsborough County Adult Evening Schools for the last ten years before he retired. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 pm Friday, June 13, 2008 at the funeral home. Funeral service 7 pm Friday, June 13, 2008 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla with Pastor Don Tanner officiating. Interment Fellowship Cemetery, Lithia, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Maranatha Church of God, P.O. Box 655, Ruskin, Fla 33573.
