Flora Fawn Yentes
May 20th, 1916 - December 13th, 2010
Yentes, Flora Fawn, 94 of Sun City Center, Fla passed away December 13, 2010 after suffering a stroke. She was the daughter of Jesse and Nellie Earhart of Markle, IN. She worked for Sealtest in Huntington, IN until moving to Speedway, IN in 1954. She then began oil painting that turned into her being an art teacher for well over 30 years. Many of her paintings are hanging around the world. An avid singer, she was a member of her church choirs wherever she lived. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Yentes, and son-in-law, Bob Higgins. Survivors include three daughters, Linda (Mike) Anthony, Judy Higgins and Cindy (John) Lippard, 11 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla. Interment will be at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens, Brandon, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LifePath Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, Fla 33573.
