Harris, Herbert "Roger" 91 of Wimauma, FL passed away at home with his loving family at his side on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Born in Adel, GA on November 28, 1920, Roger was a retired mailer for St .Louis Post-Dispatch, a member of Wimauma Church of God, a World War 2 U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran, a member of the St. Louis Mailers Union Local #3 CWA, served 22 years as the clerk of Collinsville Church of God in Collinsville, ILL . Roger is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, sister and a grandson Brian Downey. Survivors include his wife of 64 years Eva Ruth Harris, daughters Lynn (Steve) Chambliss of Collinsville, ILL, and Cynthia (Roger) Parker of Chesterfield, MO, 4 grandchildren Eric O'Donnell, Joshua Chambliss, Aron Downey and Evan Downey. Roger is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren Logan and Lillian O'Donnell and Michael Downey. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 3:30 PM at Wimauma Church of God, and a visitation on Saturday at the Church from 2:00 PM to hour of Service.
