Alvin "Al" Schneider, 92, of Sun City Center, Fla passed away July 13, 2014. He served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II and graduated with a degree in Theology from Liberty University. He was a member of the Sun City Center Men's Club, Sun City Center Lions Club and Sun City Center Marine Corps Leathernecks. Al was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Bible Study Group. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen and by his four siblings, Helen Wallace, Martin and Robert Schneider and Ann Mack. Survivors include two sons, William Schneider and James (Theresa) Schneider, a daughter, Patricia Schneider, and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 pm Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 701 Valley Forge Boulevard, Sun City Center, Fla. Interment with Military Honors at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Path Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, Florida 33573.
