Irvin J. Bomba
February 15th, 1934 - April 10th, 2017
of Sun City Center, Fla passed away April 10, 2017. He served in the United States Army and retired from IBM as Senior Designer. He was an avid golfer and was a member of St Francis Cabrini Catholic Church, Parrish, Fla. He enjoyed attending all of children's events, especially serving as a coach for Little League Baseball. He was preceded in death by his four brothers, Joseph, John, Frank and Edward Bomba and by his three sisters, Loretta Bialosuknia, Stephanie Lynch and Josephine Bomba. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Therese Bomba, two sons, Irvin J. (Catherine) Bomba, Jr and Timothy W. (Kerry) Bomba, his daughter, Nora M. (Thomas) Bomba Ruede and nine grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 702 Valley Forge Boulevard, Sun City Center, Fla. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Sarasota National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to LifePath Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, Fla or Autism Speaks, 1 East 33rd Street, 4th Floor, New York,New York, 10016. The family wishes to thank Dr. Maria Razon and her staff, members of the LifePath Hospice Green Team, and the Senior Helpers for their help and support through this difficult time.
