Robert Benjamin East

Robert “Ben” Benjamin East May 7, 1981 - March 29, 2023 Ben had a sweet soul and was a loving and supportive father, husband, brother, and son. He worked for Ford Credit for 18 years making his way to the top, while simultaneously earning his bachelors in accounting. He enjoyed spending time with his family and loyal German Shepherd, Reika, as well as participating in community events. Ben was eager to learn new techniques and skills with barbeque, which led him to assisting in BBQ competitions and sampling hot sauces. He also loved and appreciated quality, which was exemplified by the pride he had for his Mustang and efforts he made to improve his home. Ben will be deeply missed by his wife Melina East, daughters Aubrey Rose East and Abigail Daisy East, mother Sandy Buchanan, father Robert East and wife Tracy East, sister Alysia East and niece Adelyn Maphies, and grandmother Ila Buchanan. Ben is preceded in death by Waylon “Big Daddy” Gene Buchanan (maternal grandfather), Cora Margaret Perry East (paternal grandmother), Dora “Mom” Hyatt (great grandmother). Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life, which will be held in Marshall, Texas. Details to be determined.
