James Joseph Tammany, Age 59, passed away at his residence on June 29, 2021. James was a 35-year employee of Publix, a devoted son, brother and friend. He brought joy and light to everyone he met. He was a faithful member and usher at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, St. Pete Beach, FL and served this country in the US Navy. James loved sports and history. He could discuss both at length and always had lots of interesting stories and perspectives to share. He loved collecting sports memorabilia and hats and wore his best jerseys on game days. James was predeceased by his mother, Margaret (Peggy) Mann Tammany and his father, Edward J. Tammany, III. He is survived by his brother, Robert J. (Janet) Tammany of Nashville, TN, his sister, Irene J. Tammany, Bridgeport, CT, sister Jennifer Hallock, Missouri, and brother Edward J.
