Georgianna Helen Matusovich

Georgianna H (Mihaylo) Matusovich (80) formerly of St Petersburg FL went to be with Our Lord on April 2nd, 2023 She was a member of Northside Church Of Christ, St Petersburg FL. She was born on May 7th, 1942 in Derby, CT to the late George & Helen Mihaylo of Shelton, CT. Georgianna grew up with her 2 Brothers Luke (Roz) & Tom (Mary), and a Sister Carol (Warren). She was always helpful with her Dad, and earned her nickname "Tinker" She enjoyed cooking and being in the kitchen. She worked in the school lunch program and also as a waitress/food prep @ the Kmart Diner in the Ansonia Mall. She retired in 89 and married her sweetheart in Donalsonville, GA April 20th,1991.She lived in CT, GA, and FL most of her life and made many friends. Things that made her happy were bingo, playing cards, (didn't matter if it was a full deck or not) crablegs, camping, fishing, puzzles; but mostly just being with family and friends. She is survived by 1 Son: Daniel (Michelle) Untied of Groton, CT, and 3 Daughters: Catherine Mihaylo of Fayetteville, NC, Carol Untied of St Petersburg, FL, and Margaret Adams (Wayne) of Chesapeake, VA. She also had 7 Grandchildren, and 6 Great Grandchildren +1 on the way, and several Nieces and Nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 7yrs, Joseph ("Joe Joe") Francis Matusovich Jr on June 13th, 1998. She will be truly missed, but NEVER forgotten. "2 & 2 " ☕
