Stephen Wilson

Stephen A. Wilson, 74 of Seminole, FL passed away September 8, 2023 in his home. Born in Fall River, MA, Stephen moved to St. Petersburg, FL at a young age. He graduated from St. Pete High School in 1967. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Edward Wilson and Dorothy B. Ryley Wilson Johnston; and his brother Robert Wilson. Stephen is survived by his son Kenneth Patrick Wilson (Jennifer) and daughter Kristine Marie Hineman (Charles); siblings James Wilson, Penny Hynes, and Nancy Tondreault; beloved grandchildren Brooke Alizabeth Hineman, Brandon Charles Hineman, Angela Marie Hineman and Aiden James Wilson; a niece and several nephews. “Papa Steve” was an amazing man. His love for his grandchildren was unmeasurable. He was a great friend to many and loved by all who knew him as was evident in his passion and creativity for homemade cards. He put great effort into creating personalized cards that uniquely touched each one of us. His true passion was to try to make everyone feel special. He was extremely generous to those in need. He never thought of anyone as a stranger and always went out of his way to be kind to everyone. The family will be holding a celebration of life in December (TBD). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital
