Joseph Marcheso

Joseph J. Marcheso, 84, of Melbourne, died Saturday, December 24, 2011. He was born on December 14, 1927 to Vito and Jennie in Brooklyn, N.Y. Joe served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during Korea. He went on to become a lawyer and worked as a prosecutor and later in a private practice in N.Y. In late 1984, Joe moved to Brevard County as Chairman of Imperial Sterling Ltd. where the company played a major role in the developing of the Suntree area. He built the Imperial Plaza office complex, Centre at Suntree retail complex, Imperial Hotel and U.S Post office in Suntree, which are few of many. Joe was awarded Man of the Year by March of Dimes, supported Boy Scouts and co-sponsored many shows at the King Center. He is survived by his wife, Marcella and son, Joseph J. Marcheso, Jr.
