Rose Roberti Basile, 89 years old, of Satellite Beach, Florida passed away at home January 22, 2012 surrounded by her family. Rose, the daughter of the late Joseph Roberti and Grace Castaldi Roberti was born in Newark, New Jersey, resided in Livingston, New Jersey with her late husband, Ralph Basile and their four children until they moved to Satellite Beach, Florida in 1967. She is survived by her four children, Dennis Basile (wife, Debbie), Janice Basile, Kenneth Basile and Nancy Basile Burke (husband, Patrick); grandchildren Tammy Jenkins, Elizabeth Johns, Stephanie Basile, Lindsey Carlsen, Ariana and Alexis Basile; great-grandchildren Hailey Marie Jenkins and Cale Johns. She is also survived by her sister Antoinette Conklin (husband, the late Wilbur Conklin), brothers Michael Roberti (wife, Dorothy) and Dominick Roberti (wife, Jackie) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Joseph Roberti (wife, Joan) and Vincent Roberti (late wife, Mary). Rose retired 25 years ago from her work in the billing dept. at Holmes Regional Medical Center. Rose was an accomplished artist in oils, pastels and watercolors. She was a past member of the Brevard watercolor society. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family. Rose was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Indian Harbor Beach for over 45 years. The Basile family would like to express our gratitude for the kindness and compassion of her caregivers Joyce Williams and Sharon Williams.
